History of "Agro-management"
How did it start?
The idea of creation first in Russia specialized IT-platform for demonstration of the advanced experience of automation of enterprises, using innovations to increase the efficiency of agricultural production, came to the management of CPS Company in the end of 2011. Customers are always in need for reference visits to see and discuss in person how technologies are implemented in different enterprises. In practice, however, it is not an easy task to arrange such experience exchange meeting. As a result of six months of preparation of the first agro-management forum developers, integrators, equipment suppliers, consulting companies, representatives of agribusiness and science of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Belarus gathered on October 18, 2012 in Alushta to spent 4 intensive days of work and rest on the Black Sea coast.
What issues were raised at the first forum?
Construction of transport dispatching systems; automation of warehouse accounting application of Earth remote sensing data in crop production; production accounting at feed plants; planning and management on cattle farms and it’s far from the whole list of topics, which were addressed at the first forum. On the basis of positive feedback from the participants of the event, it was decided to make the forum traditional and to hold it annually at the end of October. Since 2022, the forum has become an international forum.
Why do you need to participate in Agro-management Forum? What is special about it?
While there are many different events, where developers discuss digitalization, automatization, «smart» technologies, Agro-management Forum continues to be the best in its segment.
The prestige of the event is maintained by the long-established principle:
The speakers should be executives of the agro-industrial sector, who share their experience in the implementation of information technologies, while the contractor company for its part add something to the presentation of the main speaker.
At the same time, during the forum we traditionally arrange information technology vernissage workshop, where you can “touch and see” software products, cloud services, equipment from suppliers and developers. Bright music performance of CPS executives at the banquet adds to the event a special charm. This is something you will not see anywhere else!
